Criticising the role of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and Arab League in stopping Israeli aggression on Gaza, the prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, on Wednesday called on the Muslim world to stand united against the Israeli atrocities.
‘Occupation of Palestinian land by Israel could not be accepted in any way, and just rights of the Palestinians must be established one day,’ she said. The prime minister also criticised the role of the United Nations in halting the Israeli aggression on Gaza, saying that the world body has failed to take effective steps to this end.

They hoped that the big countries would come forward to this end by breaking their silence.

The prime minister said there have been historic and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Iran and hoped this ties would be strengthened further with the visit of the Iranian delegation.
