Here the emerging need to discuss this topic “Is my religion Islam?” is because when we look around us in the muslim world it is at an unrest state. Seems we don’t have anything else to do but to fight with and kill each other.

I want to address all the Muslims of this world under the banner of Islam (specially Pakistanis). Please try and understand what is exactly going on around us. we have to be united, with we i mean two basic sects of Islam the shias and the sunnis, we have to understand that we have more in common and very less in difference.

At least if we compare with other religions, ethnic groups, communities and nations, we are all Muslims and stop addressing each other as infidels. Please it in not helping ISLAM and the muslim world at all. All the enemies of Islam and muslims (American and Jews) are playing the divide and rule on us and we are letting them play. They are making Shias to fight with Sunnis and Sunnis to fight with Shias.

The biggest thing in my understanding is to clarify that no one in Kafir or apostate here. Commonly the SHIA sect of Islam is considered to be infidels (Kafir) or Apostates (murtids) which is wrong because the common believes or i must say the basic Islamic Believes on which the Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) convert the kuffars of Makkah to Muslims were two basic things.

“There is no  God but ALLAH (s.w.t) and Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is His last Messenger “

After the death of Prophet (p.b.u.h) the conflicts started on khilafa and who is the right successor of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) but we can leave it for now so that we can be united, because Allah knows the best we were not there at all what we have now are the books and who knows how many times they all have been altered. Some other conflicts also exists but he Base of shiaism is perfectly OK and matches with sunnis

  2. Mohammad (p.b.u.h) Last Messanger of Allah
  3. 5 Time Prayers each day facing at the Qibla KAA’BA in Makkah
  4. Fasting in the month of Ramadhan
  5. Performing Hajj in the same way and time Toghether
  6. Paying Zaka’at

If we try to find we have alot more things in common. There are some people on both sides under the satanic influence are trying to embose the problems instead of provoking the common and basic believes.

In the end i would like to say my own observation which is totally unbiased, i think Iran is the best example  to the muslim world. Just think for a moment , Iran is the nation with majority shia population even though the sunnis are in minority but they are never killed by shias. No suicide bomb attacks no target killing in iran. They all are together under the banner of islam practicing there believes with out harming each other. Thats why they are able to stand in front of Americans and jews(israel).

We cant change the past but we can change our present and future by forgetting the differences and start living with our believe in one Islam.

Unite Under The Banner of One Islam. See What The Holy Quran Says

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

Peace and blessings upon His chosen Prophet, and upon his household, his noble blessed companions, and upon all the messengers and prophets.

“Hold the rope of Allah Tight so that you don’t get Disperse (AL QURAN).”

Dr. Israr Ahmed’s words about this Ayat in one of his books

“Just Imagine Allah (swt) in the holy Quran is talking about the unity between muslims, jews and christans. It is not only possible to be united with other religions (Ale Kitab) but in fact Allah is ordering us to be united with them, so why can’t we muslims be united after all we believe in ONE God and the prophecy of Muhammad (p.b.u.h). This Ayat shows Quran’s Direction and what Quran Wants us to Provoke”

The Shia Sunni Schism

islam_conflictShia Sunni schism has always acted as principle fault line in Islam. The 1.3 Billion strong Muslim population has been broadly divided into these two principle sects. The rift between the two biggest Muslim factions goes right back to the beginning-and a row over as to who would succeed Prophet Mohamed as the leader of the emerging and naive Islamic community when he died in the 7th Century.

Over the core of the Shia Sunni dispute was an impassioned argument over the principle of succession in the nascent Muslim community. There were 2 major principles which could have decided the successor of Prophet Mohamed and this caused the genesis of a fault line which has turned into a rift today.

Shia-Sunni-map-percentagesMajority of the population believed that there should be a Meritorious Principle of Succession. According to this principle, Abu Bakr, the closest associate of Prophet would be the next successor. This sect or faction of people came to be known as Sunnis.

The other group of people believed in the Dynastic Principle of Succession and said that the Islamic leadership should only be with the family of the Prophet, thus going against the principle of meritocracy. They thought that Prophet’s son in law and nephew Shiat Ali should be the next successor of Islamic community. This faction came to be known as Shias after the name Shiat Ali or “The Party of Ali.”

Sunni-Shia15Over the period, this principle fault line of Shia Sunni was exploited to cause a rift between the Muslim communities. Today, both the sides (Shia Sunni) believe in The Quran but have diverging traditions of rituals, laws and practices. In the beginning, there were more similarities than differences between the two sects, which gradually led to dilution of similarities between Shia Sunni and marking of the differences.
