US POLICY IN MIDDLE EAST DEMONSTRATES, HUBRIS DUPLICITY AND STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM
TEHRAN (FNA)- Recent conflicting statements coming from various US officials, whether they be from Defense Secretary Hagel regarding assistance from Turkey or the US State Department’s fraudulent announcement of agreements with Turkey to train “Moderate Syrians” and for Turkish intervention in ISIL’s assault on the Syrian City of Kobani, all of which were rebuffed by Turkish officials to President Obama’s pronouncement that the “Battles against ISIL” will take years” demonstrates the schizophrenic, hubris, and duplicitous approach of US policy in the Middle East dating back to the Cold War period.
While Turkey has massed tanks and troops along the Syrian border, this is only to assure the geo-political mess and carnage the United States, Great Britain and its Vassal States in the Region have created does not spill over on to Turkish soil. Turkey, along with other US Allies such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar have consistently assisted ISIL’s development and sweep and subsequent genocide through Syria and Iraq.
US Defense Secretary Hagel’s recent requests that Turkey allow so called “Moderate Syrians” to be trained and armed at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base is laughable given that just 12 months ago the United States counted ISIS as “moderate”. Senator John McCain met with members of ISIS on Memorial Day 2013 rather than honoring American Veterans back home. These so called “Moderate Syrians” are in reality not Syrians at all but are foreign terrorists who have engaged in terrorism, with US and western aid and support, in Syria including the terrorist bombing in Damascus of Government buildings which claimed the life of the Syrian defense minister and other Syrian government officials. These so called “Moderate Syrians” as they have been labeled by the US, their allies and the Zionist Media have engaged in ruthless genocide and ethnic cleansing on par with that of ISIL including the murder of captured Syrian troops and the rape of Syrian women and young girls. The images are there for all to see on social media and on you tube. All of this is whitewashed by the US and the West in its state sponsored terrorism in Syria and Iraq.
The United States and Turkey have allowed the people of Kobani to be wiped out in order to accomplish their real geo-political objective, the forced removal of Syrian President Assad and a reordering of the Middle East. If the United States and its “partners” really wanted to stop their ISIL attack dogs, they would. Look at the speed in which US and its “International Coalition” acted regarding Saddam Hussein in 1991 and he was one of America’s strategic allies it turned loose on Iran for years, first providing Iraq arms, including chemical weapons, which were used in an 8-year war against Iran then supporting terrorists which were based in Iraq which carried out attacks against Iran. ISIL has been able to muster near unlimited materials, funds and troops from all over the world who have been able to freely reach ISIL bases, often having traveled freely though US and its allies territories. This is not by accident. ISIL has not faced serious air strikes this is by design, remember the highway of death when the US Air Force decimated an entire retreating Iraqi Army with a single air strike?
ISIL has done the US and its vassal States (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey and others) dirty work on the ground, the elimination of the Kurds for the Turks, the elimination of Assad for the West and Turkey, and the removal of al-Maliki in Iraq and the attempted political encirclement/isolation of Iran. While ISIL has performed on the ground what the West could not do, we see the West’s puppets such as Saudi Arabia acting in conjunction with the United States in other areas to further carry out American objectives. Saudi Arabia has deliberately lowered the price of oil to put the economic squeeze on Russia and Iran, both of which have been targeted with American economic terrorism in the form of sanctions.
The final test in Syria will be whether or not the Turks are successful in achieving their ultimate demand for a “No Fly Zone” which would infringe on Syrian sovereignty and deny President Assad a vital ability to defend his people from the brutal genocide that Eastern Syria and Iraq have seen. The No Fly Zone which was enforced by the US and France in Libya turned the tide against Gaddafi and resulted in the failed State we see in Libya today.
Thus far the West has been unwilling to repeat the Libyan “No-Fly” model, most likely because of the Russian Naval presence in Syria. The West has not been in any great rush to address ISIL, why? It is obvious, the United States, Israel and its Middle East Vassal States have all benefited from ISIL’s terrorism, genocide and ethnic cleansing. It is obvious the United States has given up on George W. Bush’s PNAC Agenda of “bringing Democracy” to the Middle East. Now the West is bringing a blood bath and destruction with the new objective that only those Middle East Nations subservient to the West and the Zionist State in Tel Aviv will be allowed to stand.
